Reduced 20 times to create a wonderfully-rich roasted turkey classic glace, or can be used full strength as a classic glace de volaille. Soon to become as indispensable to special occasions as the turkey itself, our Set of 3 Glace de Volaille Gold are the ideal beginning point for creating elegant sauces, soups, stuffings and sides. The flavor of natural roasting juices cannot be surpassed. These deep, rich flavors create the perfect gravies to finish your most special dishes, complementing your dishes without overpowering them. Simple Turkey Gravy 1-1/2 T. (30 g) unsalted butter 1-1/2 T. (30 g) all-purpose flour 1.5 oz (45 g) Glace de Volaille Gold® + 2 c. (500 ml) boiling water 1 t. (7 g) dried tarragon leaves (optional) Melt the butter in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour and continue to cook until it is rich, nutty brown, stirring continuously. Whisk in the diluted stock, making sure to incorporate all the flour, and bring to a boil. Add the tarragon, if using. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

The Glace de Volaille Gold had an odd plastic taste to it. After tasting the base Id made, in hopes of using it for our Thanksgiving gravy, I threw it out and used another product instead. This product is expensive and tastes no better than the powdered turkey gravy mix you can buy in an envelope
